Virtual Family Literacy Event in American Sign Language and Spoken Word

An event for families of students who are deaf, hard of hearing or visually impaired to receive a free book and spend time reading together

Join the  Illinois Service Resource Center (ISRC) for the next “Parent Cafe” on Oct. 8 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Families will enjoy reading the book “I Deaf-initely Can, Rhett the Heeler” by Karlie Waldrip in spoken voice and American Sign Language (ASL).

The fun will also include a chance to win a shake awake alarm clock and other activities.
