Free webinar on using extracurricular activities to build friendships and crucial skills for children with disabilities

Family Matters Parent Training and Information Center (FMPTIC) will host “The Importance of Extracurricular Activities and Special Education” on July 24 from 12 to 1 p.m.

Extracurricular activities are a great way to give kids an outlet outside of academics that may also help them in the future. For students with disabilities, spending time with their peers participating in outside activities is crucial.

Join this Family Matters presentation and discussion on:

  • Why extracurricular activities are important
  • How outside activities can build critical life skills
  • Helping your child find and participate in outside activities
