Virtual – DSCC Mokena Family Education and Networking Group Meeting
A virtual opportunity to gain valuable local resources, make family connections and learn about Lincolnway Special Recreation Association!
Our Mokena Regional Office will host its next Mokena Family Education and Networking Group meeting on July 17 from 5 to 6 p.m.
This free virtual meeting will highlight Lincolnway Special Recreation Association’s (LWSRA) range of recreation opportunities and social activities for people of all ages with disabilities, including:
- Music and art classes
- Wheelchair softball
- Tee ball, tennis and Tae Kwon Do
- Cooking and kitchen skills classes
- Fishing
- Game nights, dances and more!
All Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) participant families based at our Mokena office in the Core and Connect Care programs are welcome to attend.
The Mokena Family Education and Networking Group aims to help families:
- Learn about resources in your community
- Find opportunities to get involved
- Network with other area families
