Autism Conference 2024 in Carbondale: “Promoting Inclusion in an Increasingly Diverse World”

The Autism Society of Southern Illinois and Southern Illinois University Vice Chancellor for Anti-Racism, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are hosting the Autism Conference 2024 “Promoting Inclusion in an Increasingly Diverse World” on April 24 from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Join experts, educators, caregivers, and community members in sharing information, experiences and strategies for fostering inclusion for individuals of all ages with autism.
Keynote speaker Cari Ebert, MS, CCC-SLP, will kick off the event with “Autism Strategies and Neurodiversity Affirming Practices.” Ebert is a pediatric speech-language pathologist, consultant, and nationally recognized speaker who will share her insights on:
- Inclusive education
- Neurodiversity
- Empowering individuals with autism to reach their full potential
Participants can also connect through:
- Interactive workshops and breakout sessions
- Networking opportunities with peers and experts in the field
- Learning and exchanging ideas about innovative approaches to supporting individuals with autism
