A webinar providing strategies for using language activities within daily routines for parents of children who are deaf or heard of hearing who use listening or spoken language and the professionals who serve them.

Hear to Learn is hosting “Promoting Language and Literacy Through Daily Routines and Activities” on Oct. 1 from 12:30 – 1 p.m.

Presenter Lauri Nelson, Ph.D., a deaf educator and pediatric audiologist, will discuss:

  • Strategies to help parents use rich and meaningful language activities within their daily routines
  • Parents’ impact on promoting their child’s curiosity and creative thinking through children’s literature
  • Using experience books and storyboards to promote literacy development
