A free webinar for parents and caregivers on transition planning and meaningful assessments for youth with disabilities

Join Family Matters Parent Training & Information Center’s Transition Webinar Series for “Instructional Practices to Support Implementation of the IEP (Individualized Education Program)” on Jan. 11.

Participants may register for either :

• A daytime session from 12 to 1 p.m.
• An evening session from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), all students with disabilities have access to the general education curriculum in their least restrictive environment.

This session will provide an overview of planning for instruction that is aligned with both the academic and transition goals. Participants will also learn about:

• How to monitor progress
• Opportunities for fostering inclusion
