Webinar – “Getting That Learning Back On”
A free, upbeat webinar for parents and caregivers focusing on how we are all dealing with learning loss and ways of getting back on track for your student’s success
Family Matters Parent Training & Information Center‘s “Getting That Learning Back On” will be held on March 29 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. This is the last session of a three-part series with presenter Nel Daymon.
This third and last webinar in the series is an upbeat, informative session addressing how we are all dealing with learning loss and focusing on getting back on track for your student’s success.
Regression-recoupment has always been a concern, yet now more than ever students are feeling the results of time out of the classroom due to:
- Non-traditional instruction (NTI) days
- Quarantine time
- Staff turn-over and frequent substitutes
- Snow days
- Spring and summer breaks
Daymon will help equip participants with ways to help prevent, assist and steer ahead with success during these anticipated and unexpected learning gaps.
Daymon is a speech-language pathologist, trainer, behavioral support specialist and provides educational and behavioral consulting services to school districts, families, local, state, and national organizations.
