A free webinar for families who have children with disabilities on various aspects of behavior

STAR NET Region IV is hosting “Addressing Challenging Behavior: Legal Rights and Responsibilities – Strategies for Building a Behavioral Safety Net” on Sept. 15 from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m.

This webinar is for family members and caregivers of children with disabilities.

Presenter Matt Cohen of Matt Cohen and Associates LLC will focus on various aspects of:

  • Behavior assessment, management and intervention
  • Strategies to promote positive behavior
  • Avoiding punitive and often unproductive discipline

Cohen has extensive legal experience in special education, mental health and confidentiality law. His achievements also include lecturing throughout the United States and publishing frequently on these topics.

Approximately three weeks before the webinar, registrants will receive an email confirming receipt of their registration request along with important instructions to review before the session.
