Summer Daze Day Camp in Peoria
Community-based summer day camp program designed for campers ages 13 to 21 who are independent in self-care skills
The Heart of Illinois Special Recreation Association (HISRA) “Summer Daze” day camp will run through July 25. The camp takes place Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration is weekly, not day-by-day.
Summer Daze is designed for campers ages 13 to 21 who have independent self-care skills. Campers will be active and take part in outdoor activities frequently.
If you want a fun adventure this summer, join Summer Daze! Enjoy doing activities around Central Illinois, including:
- Swimming
- Hiking
- Bowling
- Fishing and more
All campers must bring a sack lunch and drink daily.
The cost is $156 per week per camper for residents and $203 for non-residents.

You must submit all forms and camper assessments by April 1.
The deadline to register, withdraw or change any camp registration is May 1.
