Free dental screenings for school-age children

The Southern Illinois University (SIU) Dental Hygiene Program is hosting “Give Kids A Smile Day” on March 1 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

SIU students, faculty and volunteer hygienists from the area will provide free care to children who do not have regular access to dental care.

Infants and children up to age 15 can receive exams and other services, including:

  • Cleanings
  • X-rays
  • Sealants
  • Fluoride treatments
