PGA ABLE Golf Program in Springfield
A free, hands-on golf program for individuals with intellectual or physical disabilities
The Springfield Park District’s Special Recreation Department and PGA professionals are hosting the “PGA ABLE Golf Program” from July 27 through Aug. 31. Golfers will meet each Thursday for six weeks from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
PGA ABLE (Abilities Beyond Life’s Expectations) is for children and adults with intellectual or physical disabilities to learn about and compete in the sport of golf. Program participants will enjoy hands-on lessons and activities provided by PGA professionals both on and off the course.
The PGA ABLE golf program is free and open to children, youth and adults who are 5 or older.
