“Mom’s Morning Out” in Oregon
A free morning for moms of children with disabilities to socialize, share and relax
StarNet Regions I and III, in collaboration with Florissa, are hosting “Mom’s Morning Out” on Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Nash Recreation Center in Oregon.
Self-care is so important for moms and caregivers. Moms of children with disabilities are invited to take a break, meet others and relax.
“Mom’s Morning Out” will feature:
- Yoga and meditation with local instructor Kara Schabacker
- Self-care strategies to squeeze in as time and opportunities allow
- Make-it-take-it materials focusing on your healing journey
Kara has more than 13 years of training and experience as a yoga teacher. She uses yoga as a preventative approach to healing, mental health and well-being.
