Healthy Cents Classes in Hillsboro

Free and fun meal planning and cooking classes for adults and youth accompanied by a parent or guardian

Join Illinois Nutrition Education Programs and the University of Illinois Extension office for their “Healthy Cents” classes on June 7, 14 and 21 from 5 to 6 p.m.

These free and fun classes are at the University of Illinois Extension office in Montgomery County at 1 Industrial Park Drive in Hillsboro.

Healthy Cents participants will have fun making and tasting recipes together. They will also learn about meal planning, healthy snacks and even make a container garden to take home.

Anyone who attends all three classes will be entered to win a 7-quart Hamilton Slow Cooker. The drawing will take place on June 21.

This class is for adults, but youth are more than welcome to join with a parent or guardian.
