A free podiatry clinic for children and youth

The Illinois Elks Children’s Care Program is sponsoring a free foot and ankle clinic for children and youth on June 3  from 2 to 4 p.m.

The clinic will be held at Cortese Foot & Ankle Clinic, Sullivan Center, 1508 W. Reynolds Suite C, Pontiac.

The clinic with Dr. Steven Yescheck is open to pediatric and teenage youth up to age 18 with ankle or foot pain and in- and out-toeing.

There are no charges for any services performed at the clinic, but you must have an appointment.

No medical referral is necessary. Physicians are welcome to refer patients to the clinic for a specific reason or second opinion.

The Elks Organization has worked with children with physical challenges since 1928 and provides 17 clinic locations throughout Illinois. The Elks also offer financial assistance to the best of their ability for children needing further treatment or specialty equipment when the family lacks sufficient resources.
