A free orthopedic assessment clinic for children and youth with bone and joint development concerns

The Illinois Elks Children’s Care Corporation’s free podiatry clinic for youth with foot and ankle concerns will be on March 1 from 12 to 1 p.m.

Dr. Steven Yescheck will assess youth for pediatric bone and joint development at Cortese Foot & Ankle Clinic. The clinic is for children and teens up to age 18. No medical referral is necessary.

Consider making an appointment if your child has:

  • Foot pain
  • Ankle pain
  • In- and out-toeing

Physicians are welcome to refer patients to the clinic for a specific reason or second opinion.

There is no charge for services performed at the clinic. You must have an appointment to attend. To make an appointment, call the Elks Children’s Care Program at (800) 272-0074 on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Elks provide clinics throughout Illinois and offer financial assistance to the best of their ability for children needing further treatment or specialty equipment when the family lacks sufficient resources.
