DSCC Health Insurance Education Series: Understanding Your Insurance
Free virtual training sessions in English and Spanish for Division of Specialized Care for Children participants and their families and anyone interested in these topics.
The University of Illinois Chicago’s Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) Health Insurance Education Series kicks off with “Understanding Your Insurance” on March 7 from 6 to 7 p.m.
We developed this webinar series in response to our participant family’s feedback and suggestions. The free, family-focused series will cover important health insurance topics.
This first session will focus on understanding your health insurance.
DSCC’s Benefits Management and Research Team will talk about:
- Types of insurance plans
- Important words to know
- What to do if you have many insurance plans
- How to find a doctor
There will also be time for questions.
This session is free and open to all DSCC participants, their families/caregivers and anyone interested in these topics.
