Caring for Kids Summer Camp Session 2 in Chicago
Dynamic day camp program for youth with disabilities.
Caring for Kids Summer Camp is for youth between the ages of 7 and 17 who have a primary physical disability and are independent in their daily living skills. Summer camp offers outdoor and indoor adaptive sports and hands-on recreational activities.
The program is designed to foster a positive quality of life among youth with physical disabilities by promoting physical fitness, independence, socialization, activity and adaptive programming resources.
The camp runs Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at locations throughout Chicago, the surrounding suburbs and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.
Session 2 is for ages 13 to 17 and is scheduled for July 31 to Aug. 11.
