A free sensory-sensitive Christmas event featuring beautiful displays, horses and Sparkey the donkey
Hear ye, Hear ye!
Join Gateway Family Services and Hooves of Hope for a “Sensory-Sensitive Christmas” on Dec. 2 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Children with autism and other sensory processing disorders and their families can enjoy this one-of-a-kind Christmas experience.
This sensory-friendly version of Christmas in the Barn will include:
- Seeing the Christmas trees and wreaths in a more calming environment
- Meeting the horses
- Petting Sparkey the donkey and more
The event supports Gateway Family Services of Illinois and Hooves of Hope. The barns are located by Potomac Grade School as you enter into Potomac on US 136.
Admission is free.
