Elks Free Children’s Orthopedic Clinic in Rockford
A free orthopedic clinic for pediatric and teenage children
The Northwest District Elks Lodge and the Illinois Elks Children’s Care Program are sponsoring a free children’s orthopedic clinic on April 20 from 2 – 4 p.m.
The clinic will take place at the OrthoIllinois office of Dr. Scott Ferry located at 324 Roxbury Road in Rockford.
The clinic is for children and youth up to age 18. It will assess and address joint and bone development concerns, including:
- Scoliosis or a curved back
- Complaints of joint pain in the feet, knees, legs or ankles
- Various tendon, joint, muscle and bone-related hindrances
There is no cost for the clinic, but you must have an appointment.
The Elks Organization has been working with children with physical challenges since 1928.
The Elks provide 17 clinic locations throughout Illinois. They offer financial assistance to the best of their ability for children needing further treatment or specialty equipment when the family lacks sufficient resources.
