Cornerstone Services’ Employment Services help people with disabilities gain and maintain employment in the community.
Services are available in Will, Kankakee and southern Cook counties. Services include career counseling, job development and job coaching.
Provides prevention, intervention and educational services to foster non-violence in the lives of children and adults.
Infinite Potential Through Technology (Infinitec)
Infinite Potential Through Technology (Infinitec) brings assistive technology to people with disabilities in Illinois. Infinitec provides information about assistive technology as well as training, equipment and access to specialists and resources.
Infinitec includes information about mobility devices, home modifications, independent living, orthotics and prosthetics, adaptive toys, adaptive sports, hearing resource guides, vision resource guides and more.
The Arc of Illinois advocates for and empowers people with disabilities and their families to reach their goals and fully participate in community life. The Arc of Illinois provides information, resources, family support, and training to help make Illinois a place where people with disabilities can learn, play, work, and live in communities across the state.

DSCC’s Health Care Transition Readiness Assessment for Youth
DSCC’s Health Care Transition Readiness Assessment for Youth provides a checklist for youth to use to identify what they know about their health, self-care skills and abilities they have met, and areas where they may need additional focus as they prepare for the transition to adulthood. The skills list also includes medication and treatment management and managing insurance benefits. Some of these activities may not apply to everyone.

As a part of the UIC Department of Disability and Human Development, this clinic provides comprehensive assessment and treatment services for children, adolescents, and adults with developmental disabilities.
Variety – The Children’s Charity of Illinois
Variety of Illinois’ mission is to improve the quality of life for children with disabilities by providing the equipment and experiences needed to reach their highest potential.
Its programs include Variety at Play, which offers inclusive, accessible activities for the whole family; Kids on the Go that provides mobility equipment not covered by insurance for children with disabilities; and Live to Achieve that encourages participation and excellence in adaptive sports.

Home Accessibility Program (HAP)
Funded by the Illinois Affordable Housing Trust Fund, HAP provides funding to local governments and non-profit organizations throughout Illinois to provide home accessibility grants to their local constituency. These grants help people stay in their homes and prevent premature or unnecessary institutionalization of the elderly and people with disabilities.
