Free meals are available to all children and young adults under 18 years old. Children need not be present at pick up, nor do they need to attend the school where pick up is made. There is a maximum of five meals per car.

Chicago Children’s Theatre’s Family Activities
Chicago Children’s Theatre shares a variety of instructional videos and activity ideas, including tapestry weaving, coloring books, making a shadow puppet theatre and more.
The National Diaper Bank Network connects and supports the country’s more than 200 community-based diaper banks that collect, store and distribute free diapers to struggling families. The website includes a list of member diaper banks in Illinois.
Share Our Spare collects new and gently-used items for children ages 0-5 and donates them to low-income families living in Metropolitan Chicago. Items are not available directly: instead, Share our Spare reaches families in need by partnering with local social services organizations that provide their clients with needed social services such as parenting classes, early childhood education, housing referrals, job readiness training, and behavioral health services.
Chinese Mutual Aid Association COVID-19 Resources
Chinese Mutual Aid Association (CMAA) is a community-based social services agency targeting the low-income immigrant and refugee community. CMAA is also offering direct financial assistance to low-income families who have been economically affected by the COVID-19 crisis. The assistance can help those struggling financially with rent payments, mortgage payments, utilities, purchasing groceries or meeting other immediate needs.
Camp Kinda is an exploratory learning experience designed to keep kids ages 3 to 13 engaged curious, and having fun — even if they’re stuck at home. It’s like summer camp (kinda).
Families can sign up for access through May 2022 for $25 per family. The subscription includes access to the entire catalog of Camp Kinda and Camp Kinda, Jr. adventures—more than 350 hours of activities, Fee waivers are available for families facing financial hardship.
