Wheelchair Basketball Game 2024 in Bloomington

Wheelchair basketball excitement for the family featuring the hometown team and Illini Wheelchair Basketball team members

Members of the University of Illinois Wheelchair Basketball teams will play an exhibition wheelchair basketball game against LIFE Center for Independent Living (LIFE CIL) on April 6 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Doors will open at 9 a.m. The game will begin at 10 a.m.

Bring the family and cheer on the hometown team as they take on players from the Illini Wheelchair Basketball teams.

LIFE CIL’s community partners home team will include:

• Bloomington police officers
• Town of Normal employees
• MAVIDEA Technology Group staff
• Representatives from several United States veterans organizations
• Firefighters from Towanda Fire Department

This fun, family event will include a raffle, silent auction, prizes and plenty of action on the court.

Tickets are $5. Children ages 5 and under are free.

All proceeds from this event benefit LIFE Center for Independent Living (LIFE CIL) and will provide two scholarships to the University of Illinois Wheelchair Sports Camps.
