Free event for youth with physical disabilities ages 6 through high school.

Synergy Adaptive Athletics is hosting an event for youth to try wheelchair basketball from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Aug. 24 at Centennial Recreation Center/NEDSRA in Addison.

Youth with physical disabilities ages 6 through high school are invited to meet wheelchair athletes and coaches and learn about the sport and program opportunities.

The event is free. Snacks will be provided.
