Free, all-inclusive evening for students with disabilities and their families to connect with community partners and explore options beyond high school

Join the Sangamon County Transition Planning Committee (TPC) and Springfield School District 186 for the 2024 Transition Fair “What Comes Next?” on April 17 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Erin’s Pavilion will host exhibitors and a wide-range of opportunities for students and their families throughout Sangamon County to learn about important resources for success after high school.

Transition fair activities will include:

  • Participating in breakout sessions
  • Connecting with community partners and key resources
  • Networking with other students and families
  • Speaking with representatives offering a wide range of resources

Representatives from the University of Illinois Chicago’s Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) will also be on hand to provide information about our our programs.

Please stop by our table to ask questions and pick up a variety of resources for the transition to adulthood for youth and young adults with special healthcare needs.
