West Suburban Special Recreation Association (WSSRA) Summer Camps – Session 2
Day camp opportunities for individuals ages 3 to 22 with disabilities
The West Suburban Special Recreation Association (WSSRA) will host Session 2 of “Day Camp Adventure Awaits 2024” from July 8 – 26 (three weeks).
WSSRA serves campers who live within the boundaries of the following communities and entities:
- Village of Harwood Heights
- Village of Elmwood Park
- Village of North Riverside
- Village of Riverside
- Berwyn Park District
- Park District of Forest Park
- Park District Franklin Park
- Norridge Park District
- North Berwyn Park District
- Park District of Oak Park
- River Forest Park District
- Veterans Park District
Campers will enjoy a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities.
WSSRA assigns campers to a site based on their age and individual needs. Typically, sites are in Berwyn, Oak Park, Franklin Park, Forest Park and Northlake.
Scholarships may be available for a percentage of camp and transportation fees. You must show proof of income. You can get a scholarship application and more information on the WSSRA website.
Door-to-door transportation is available for an additional fee. Limited spots are available.
Sign up for the day camp lottery. Lottery registration is open until Feb. 25 at 5 p.m. Families will receive a notification email on March 1 to learn if they are registered or on the waitlist.
