Webinar – “Youth Sexual Exploitation and Human Trafficking”
A free, virtual training on youth sexual exploitation and human trafficking
Join Prevent Child Abuse Illinois via Zoom for “Youth Sexual Exploitation and Human Trafficking” on July 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Medical professionals and other youth advocates will receive real-life examples and a more in-depth look at the complexities of advocacy for minor survivors of sex trafficking and youth sexual exploitation.
Participants will hear from Kim White, a survivor advocate and case manager, who will use her story to illustrate the importance of being survivor-centered. This real-life case study will be a catalyst for discussion and highlight the importance of trauma-informed advocacy at various points of contact with professionals.
A variety of experts will also offer resources and guidance on identification, interventions and best practices.
