The Illinois Assistive Technology Program (IATP) Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (WIPA) program helps Social Security Disability beneficiaries get the information they need to transition to work.
Join IATP-WIPA and the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Rehabilitation Services for this WISE Event on Jan. 15 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
WISE webinars help individuals receiving Social Security Income/Social Security Disability Income (SSI/SSDI) understand the WIPA program.
If you are working, have a job offer, are ready to start employment, or are a veteran, this webinar will explain Social Security work incentives and how working will affect your public benefits.
Participants will learn about:
- How work earnings will affect your state and federal benefits, such as Medicaid or housing
- Healthcare options available while working
- The Ticket to Work program
- How to enroll in WIPA services
