Family Matters Parents Training and Information Center is hosting the webinar, “What’s New in the 2020 ISBE Parent Guide on Understanding Special Education in Illinois,” at 10 a.m. Sept. 1.

The Illinois State Board of Education provides a guide to help families understand their educational rights and responsibilities related to special education.

This webinar will review the contents and the importance of each chapter and appendix.

The presentation will explain what is new in the 2020 version and offer a way to get a hard copy of the guide and individualized assistance.
