An opportunity to learn about UIC’s Co-Op Program for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Is the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Certificate in Co-Operative Career Experience (Co-Op Program) the right fit for you?
Join the Co-Op Team to get a look at the program and learn about the application process on Feb. 3 from 12 to 1:30 pm.
The UIC Co-Op Program from the Department of Disability and Human Development is designed to support students with intellectual and developmental disabilities who may not be able to access post-secondary education in traditional ways.
Co-Op students take classes alongside other UIC students as they work towards career opportunities in:
- Arts and culture
- Social justice and advocacy
- Health and care across the lifespan

Co-Op staff will also offer time in person and via Zoom for interested individuals to chat with them about the program and get help navigating the application process.
