A free webinar for individuals, families, educators and service providers focusing on several transportation services offered by Pace for people with disabilities

Join Connect to Community’s (CTC) Virtual Friday Forum “Transportation Options for People with Disabilities” via Zoom on Sept. 9 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Access to transportation can sometimes be a barrier to full inclusion within the community.

Ed Madden with Pace Suburban Bus will discuss several transportation services offered by Pace including:

  • Accessible fixed route buses
  • The RTA Travel Training Program
  • The door-to-door Paratransit System

Palatine Township Transportation Director, Jerald Wolff,  and Schaumburg Township Transportation Manager, Mel Maldonado, will also speak about the transportation services that they offer, some in partnership with Pace, such as:

  • Dial-a-Ride
  • Subsidized taxi service
  • The TRIP Program for medical appointments
