The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and the Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS) developed this standardized training to address the requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and ensure a smooth transition process is in place for children and their families who will transition from Early Intervention into Early Childhood Special Education.
Presenters Gina Musielski, Keena Sims and Pam Shaw will help participants understand the timeline, requirements and vital transition partnerships, collaborative relationships and positive strategies.
