A webinar celebrating the anniversary of the signing of the Americans With Disabilities Act and highlighting the careers of four young professionals with disabilities.

Join The Harkin Institute for Public Policy & Citizen Engagement via Zoom for “The ADA Generation at Work” on July 25 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The 32nd anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act is July 26.

Celebrate this important anniversary and hear from young professionals with disabilities about how growing up as part of the ‘ADA Generation” has impacted their lives and careers.

The panel includes:

  • AJ Link, Policy Analyst, Autistic Self Advocacy Network
  • Edward Esbeck, Core Faculty for Self-Advocacy & Self-Advocacy Coordinator, Iowa UCEDD
  • Meg Shanks, Faculty and Program Assistant, International Development MA Program, Gallaudet University

The speakers’ field of work and expertise includes research, policy, training and advocacy.
