Free lunchtime webinar addresses special needs trusts for families of individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

The Illinois Life Span Program of The Arc of Illinois is hosting the lunchtime webinar “Special Needs Trusts and ABLE Accounts” at 12 p.m. on Nov. 5.

This webinar features Benjamin Rubin, J.D., L.L.M., of Rubin Law and will address special needs trusts for families that include a loved one with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Covered topics will include:

• Difference between first-party and third-party special needs trusts
• How ABLE accounts work with first-party and third-party special needs trusts
• Common mistakes in special needs trusts
