This free webinar provides an overview of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) and how to navigate the IEP process.

The Family Resource Center on Disabilities (FRCD) is hosting “Navigating the IEP Process” on July 13 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The IEP is a legal, written plan that describes the special education instruction, supports and services a child needs to be successful. Each public school student who is eligible for special education has an IEP.

This webinar provides an overview of the IEP and how to navigate the IEP meeting.
FRCD presenters will discuss the:
  • Evaluation process
  • IEP
  • Least restrictive environment (LRE)
  • Procedural safeguards
  • Special education and remote learning
