Social stories, or narratives, can help decrease your child’s anxiety before doctor’s appointments, school events or the unpredictable holiday season.
Learn the basics of supporting children through new experiences with presenter Sam Mauceri. Sam will walk participants through:
- Understanding how social stories help children navigate new experiences
- Creating social stories/narratives
- Locating tools and techniques to make quick and easy social stories
Sam is a theatre educator, theatre artist and arts administrator with a passion for creating accessible spaces for drama students and young audiences of all abilities.
