Learn the basics of how to support children through doctor’s appointments, school events, the unpredictable holiday season or new experiences by creating and using social stories/narratives.

Sam Mauceri, the Director of Education and Access Programs at Chicago Children’s Theatre, will help parents and educators:

• Discover tools and techniques for making quick and easy social stories
• Learn how using social stories can help minimize your child’s anxiety

Sam is a theatre educator, theatre artist and arts administrator with a passion for creating accessible spaces for drama students and young audiences of all abilities.
