Join the Family Resource Center on Disabilities (FRCD) for “Skills for Effective Parent Advocacy: Special Education Rights” on May 4 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Participants will tackle the alphabet soup of special education acronyms and build skills for effective parent advocacy.

This presentation will explore:

  • The role of an advocate and the power behind becoming one
  • How to articulate your child’s needs confidently
  • The process of supporting a struggling student
  • Practical strategies to effectively advocate for your child
