The Family Resource Center on Disabilities (FRCD) is hosting “Six Principles of IDEA: Special Education Rights” via Zoom on April 29 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
IDEA is the law protecting the rights of children receiving special education services.
Participants will leave this training with a better understanding of key aspects of the law, including:
- The evaluation process
- Individualized Education Programs (IEP)
- Least restrictive environments (LRE)
- Procedural safeguards
