A webinar providing parents, caregivers and professionals an overview of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)
The Family Resource Center on Disabilities (FRCD) is hosting “Six Principles of IDEA: Special Education Rights” on May 21 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
IDEA is the law protecting the rights of children receiving special education services.
Participants will leave this training with a better understanding of key aspects of the law, including:
- The evaluation process
- Individualized Education Programs (IEP)
- Least restrictive environments (LRE)
- Procedural Safeguards
