A webinar providing parents, caregivers and professionals an overview of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)
The Family Resource Center on Disabilities (FRCD) is hosting “Six Principles of IDEA: Special Education Rights” on Jan. 8 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
IDEA is the law protecting the rights of children receiving special education services.
Participants will leave this training with a better understanding of key aspects of the law, including:
- The evaluation process
- Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Least Restrictive Environment (LRE)
- Procedural Safeguards
