This free webinar provides an overview of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), the law protecting the rights of children receiving special education services.
The Family Resource Center on Disabilities (FRCD) is hosting “Six Principles of IDEA” on Oct. 19 from 6 – 8 p.m.
IDEA protects the rights of children receiving special education services. This training will cover:
- Evaluation process
- Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Least restrictive environment (LRE)
- Procedural safeguards
