The Family Resource Center on Disabilities (FRCD) is hosting “Six Principles of IDEA: Special Education Rights” via Zoom on July 8 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
IDEA is the law protecting the rights of children receiving special education services.
Participants will leave this training with a better understanding of key aspects of the law, including:
- The evaluation process
- Individualized Education Programs (IEP)
- Least restrictive environments (LRE)
- Procedural safeguards
