Empower your child and learn about early childhood inclusion in this free webinar series and book study for families and educators

STAR NET Regions I and III and STAR NET Region IV will kick off the virtual three-part book study “Empowering Your Child to Fly: A Family’s Guide to Early Childhood Inclusion” in February.

Each participant will receive a copy of the book “Empowering Your Child to Fly: A Family’s Guide to Early Childhood Inclusion” by Jani Kozlowski. Sessions will be from 7 to 8 p.m. on:

  • Feb. 6 – Chapters 1 -3
  • Feb. 20 – Chapters 4 – 6
  • March 6 – Chapters 7 – 9

Dive into topics about the importance of inclusion in early childhood education with Sheri Kraus, the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Family Professional Development Specialist with STAR NET Region IV.

Sheri will guide the conversation and help family members of children with disabilities and educators:

  • Join the discussion
  • Ask questions
  • Feel empowered

Sheri and her husband are parents of three young men, including one son with autism spectrum disorder. She enjoys working with families and sharing all she can with those who have children with and without disabilities.
