Join Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago for a special Facebook live event for parents and caregivers.

“Return To School for Youth with Special Healthcare Needs: Key Questions and Considerations for Families” is scheduled for 11 a.m. Aug. 19.

Drs. Carolyn Foster (Primary Care) and Ami Patel (Infectious Disease) will be interviewed by Margaret Storey, a Lurie Children’s parent and advocate.

They will discuss what we know about COVID-19 risks for youth with medical complexity and special healthcare needs. The discussion will focus on empowering families to talk with their pediatricians and schools about return-to-school decisions.
