A free, online event in recognition of Jewish Disability Awareness, Acceptance and Inclusion Month for hiring professionals and anyone interested in learning more about the challenges, organizational culture and implicit bias in disability employment

Join RespectAbility for Jewish Disability Awareness, Acceptance and Inclusion Month’s (JDAIM) “Policy Advocacy and You 2022 – Implicit Bias in Disability Employment” on Feb. 22 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.

The program will highlight what a person with a disability experiences before they even consider applying to an organization and what can be done to advocate for the hiring and retention of more people with disabilities.

Disability advocates, speaker Michelle Friedman and program moderator Justin Cooper, will challenge participants to look at the implicit bias that organizations communicate from basic website design, employment applications, job descriptions and throughout the entire job application process.

Professionals who influence hiring and organizational culture as well as all interested community members are encouraged to join this program.
