Prevent Child Abuse Illinois‘ Lunch ‘n Learn webinar series kicks off with “Parenting Hacks for Parenting Kiddos With Trauma” on April 6 from 12- 1 p.m. The series is held via Zoom and features a different parenting topic each Wednesday through April.
Parenting doesn’t come with a “how-to” manual.
As part of Child Abuse Prevention Month, this series is designed to help parents in a variety of situations support each other and focus on the positive environment we all need to survive and thrive.
Each “Parenting Hacks for Parenting Kiddos With …” session will provide participants with a parent’s real-life perspective, experiences and tips for navigating a specific area of parenting.
This Lunch ‘n Learn session will focus on parenting children who have experienced trauma. The presenter is a three-time adoptive parent and foster parent trainer who is raising children with trauma backgrounds.
Parents are invited to join any or all sessions.
