Prevent Child Abuse Illinois‘ Lunch ‘n Learn webinar series continues with “Parenting Hacks for Parenting Kiddos With Autism” on April 13 from 12- 1 p.m. The series is held via Zoom and features a different parenting topic each Wednesday through April.

Parenting doesn’t come with a “how-to” manual.

As part of Child Abuse Prevention Month, this series is designed to help parents in a variety of situations support each other and focus on the positive environment we all need to survive and thrive.

This Lunch ‘n Learn session will focus on parenting a child with autism. The presenter is a mom who is raising her son with autism and has held various positions at the Night’s Shield Family Advocacy Center and Youth Shelter. Participants will share in her journey and the tips and tricks she has learned along the way.

Parents are invited to join any or all sessions.
