A free, lunchtime webinar for parents and families to learn about what occupational therapy (OT) is and how it can impact outcomes for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)

Grab a bite to eat and join The Arc of Illinois’ Illinois Life Span Program (ILS) Lunchtime Webinar “Occupational Therapy: What It Is and How It Helps Enhance Participation Outcomes for Children with IDD” on April 12 from 12 – 1 p.m.

Presenter Dr. Mansha Mirza, Associate Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the University of Illinois Chicago, will help participants better understand the range of OT services and how to promote everyday participation and daily living activities through OT. Mirza will also discuss:

  • Who is eligible for OT services
  • How to request OT services

Time will also be available for discussion and participant questions.

Dr. Mirza is a licensed occupational therapist with a degree in disability studies.
