A free webinar for anyone who wants to better understand the basics of Medicaid for children and youth with special health care needs
The Catalyst Center is offering a “Medicaid 101” webinar via Zoom on June 14 from 2 to 3 p.m.
Medicaid is the single largest source of health coverage for children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN). This webinar will present foundational knowledge about Medicaid for Title V staff and the general public.
Catalyst Center staff will explain the basics of Medicaid, including:
- CYSHCN benefits and cost-sharing limits
- Eligibility pathways to Medicaid coverage for children
- The Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT) program
EPSDT, a benefit that is unique to Medicaid, is crucial for access to care for CYSHCN.
