Free webinar for professionals and parents of children who are deaf or hard of hearing

Hear to Learn is hosting the “Listening and Language Everywhere!” webinar at 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 29.

Parents of children who are deaf or hard of hearing and who are pursuing the listening and spoken language approach are invited to participate. Professionals are also invited to attend.

The presentation will discuss ideas and ways of weaving language learning into daily life during:

  • Mealtime (e.g., grocery lists, recipes, table settings)
  • Playtime (e.g., arts/crafts, blocks, cars, active outdoor games)
  • Chore time (e.g., cleaning up toys, sorting laundry, yard work)
  • Music time (e.g., enjoying music together or making your own)
  • Storytime (e.g., sharing your favorite books and creating new stories)

Jeanette Smoot, MS, CCC-SLP, LSLS Cert AVEd, is the presenter.
